About the Nutrition Challenge

For our Razorback CrossFit members, we will be hosting a "Nutrition Challenge" to kick off the new year! Our challenge is first and foremost, NOT a weight loss challenge. We will be taking body measurements to asses changes, not body weight.  It is a learning experience where you will be able to see firsthand the differences in your energy levels, well being, mental acuity and performance during the CrossFit WODs. Our bodies are the self-regenerating, organic machines, and nutrition is our fuel. You will be very happy you took on this challenge if this is the first time making these dietary changes.

First and foremost: Anna and I will be taking pre-assesment measurements for this challenge on Saturday January 4th from 8a-11a at the LRAC. These pre-assesments are a great way to track your progress throughout the challenge and will serve as "before and after" results for your edification. They will consist of a skin-fold test to determine body composition, and several location-specifics tape measurements!

We will begin the challenge Monday, January 6th and it will last through Saturday, February 15th. There will be a $10 buy-in for this challenge, with cash and other prizes awarded to the overall winner and the best in category male/female winners. Winners will be determined by the point scoring system we will use.
